I finally got around to redoing my glitter boots with permanent glue. I repeated all of the same steps as the original DIY only this time I used E-6000 glue purchased from Michael's craft store. It's an industrial strength clear adhesive that can be used on practically any material. My one tip for this glue is to use a really short, strong-bristled brush because this glue, being industrial strength, is harder to spread than the Elmer's glue I used last time.
